A dramatic presentation of one of the Northeast’s most iconic mineral finds. This specimen from the famous Red Embers Mine in Erving, Massachusetts, features six vivid Almandine garnets suspended in a metallic, lustrous Graphite matrix. These garnets are renowned for their 'ember-like' glow, a unique optical quality where the deep burgundy crystals ignite into a brilliant ruby-red when backlit. We selected this piece for its superb contrast and the expert exposure of the garnet crystals, representing a masterfully prepared example of a world-class American locality.
