MINERAL DESCRIPTION
This stunning smoky quartz crystal cluster from Brazil boasts a beautiful, deep hue. Its condition is excellent, featuring a balance of polished and natural faces that enhance its overall aesthetic. Smoky quartz, a grey-brown to black variation of quartz, is named for its smoky appearance within the crystal. Depending on the location and the chemicals present during formation, it can take on an opaque black appearance, but is typically translucent. This color is thought to be a result of natural irradiation and the presence of aluminum impurities.  On the bottom of specimen are more smoky quartz clusters. A one of a kind piece.
