A rare intersection of paleontology and mineralogy. This 343g specimen features a fossilized clam shell whose interior cavity has been naturally transformed into a host for deep, bladed Vivianite crystals. Under ambient light, the crystals appear as sophisticated, lustrous black sprays; however, when met with strong backlighting, they reveal a secret, vivid indigo-blue hue. It is an avant-garde display piece that captures the exact moment organic history was replaced by crystalline structure.
