MINERAL DESCRIPTION
A striking specimen from the famed Los Lamentos mining district in Chihuahua, Mexico. This piece features bright butterscotch-orange wulfenite crystals perched on a richly textured limonitic matrix. The crystals are sharp, translucent, and well-situated for display, glowing warmly under good lighting.
Delicate sprays of white acicular aragonite add striking contrast and texture, enhancing the natural beauty of the piece. Measuring approximately 2.0 × 1.4 × 1.7 inches, this is a fine, cabinet-sized example of one of Mexico’s most classic and sought-after mineral species.
